The Analog to CAN Converter Module offers 8 channels of 0–5V analog inputs, converting sensor readings into CAN bus messages in real time. Ideal for logging suspension travel, throttle position, brake pressure, and and other 0-5V signals.

Internal 5V regulator provides 5V sensor power (up to 1.5A total)

Inputs accept 0–5V signals

10-bit ADC = 1024 discrete voltage steps (~0.005V resolution)

In this configuration, a 100mm suspension travel potentiometer will have 0.1 mm resolution

System accuracy depends on sensor and electrical noise

housing

Standard M4x0.7mm mounting holes

Optional construction; CNC machined Aluminium or 3D-printed housings available

Custom machining or printing available. Please contact us if you need any customisation, for branding, different housing mount strategy, may add additional cost & lead time depending on the details you require.

Sandblasting, Anodising, and Laser Etching are possible but these are outsourced so will add cost and lead time

Harness lengths and breakout wiring can be customized per channel for ease of integration.

CAN Bus Protocol

Default firmware outputs at 500 kbps using Big Endian format:

CAN ID 0x50:
- byte 0-1: Channel 1
- byte 2-3: Channel 2
- byte 4-5: Channel 3
- byte 6-7: Channel 4

CAN ID 0x51:
- byte 0-1: Channel 5
- byte 2-3: Channel 6
- byte 4-5: Channel 7
- byte 6-7: Channel 8
